About The Ladybug Project

A Vision and a Mission

In pursuit of encouraging global citizenship and empowerment, Susan Bradley formed The Ladybug Project in 2024. The United States non-profit (Section 501(c)(3)) was born out of a passion for working with others, with a primary goal of focusing on progressing education and ensuring access to fundamental life necessities. Susan Bradley is a seasoned educator and Montessorian with over twenty-five years of experience. She owns and operates four schools in New England, and is energized and motivated by the profound impact and long-term transformation that education can have on individuals, families, and their communities. The Ladybug Project believes that all children have value and potential. Every child should ideally have equal access to quality education and basic resources, regardless of gender, culture, ethnicity, religion, ability, or wealth.

Collaboration is Imperative for Advancement

Local partnerships are vital to the formation and sustainability of any initiatives in which The Ladybug Project engages. Key stakeholders, such as departments of education and governments, tribal leaders, teachers, business owners, and community members, are essential to the investment in and ownership of these collective collaborations. What is most imperative to successful implementation of any action is that local partners facilitate the daily work. In essence, it is their work, not ours.  Inclusiveness is fundamental to a sustainable future.

Empowering Future leaders as Agents of Change

"The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence." - Dr. Maria Montessori

Enhanced learning opportunities, competencies, and environments foster higher levels of practical life skills, self-esteem, and respect of others, while also building a sense of community and leadership. The Ladybug Project aspires to help children realize their potential in their primary years and encourages them to become integral agents of change as they progress into young adulthood.
